Our CopperGelCool Mattress range has been designed specifically for patients at risk of developing pressure injuries. The surface supports correct sleep posture. Dunlop foams provide the ultimate pressure relief and temperature regulation for a deeper and more restorative night’s sleep. The Australian-Made Memory Foam is GECA approved, which means it is devoid of harmful chemicals often found in lower-quality and imported mattresses.

Five layers make up the core of this mattress and it comes with a Carplex waterproof medical cover that is excellent for incontinence issues and infection control, and both the mattress system and the cover work together to offer effective shear and friction management. Our Copper Gel Cool Mattress is made exclusively by Dunlop and constructed from specialized hospital grade foams. Registered as a “Class 1 Medical Device”. This product is constructed in accordance with all australian manufacturing and clinical standards.

Our tests demonstrate that CopperGelCool Mattress systems proved beneficial by relieving interface pres- sures between the subjects used and the support surfaces.

The equipment helps reduce harmful pressures that over periods of time could cause serious health issues to those at risk of pressure damage. The spreading of the surface area and the greater support given by these dynamic mattress systems allow the support surfaces to provide an excellent relevance in patient care.

It should be noted that results on our Pressure Mapping equipment are for comparative use only and may vary according to both ambient and subject body temperature, but care is taken during testing to ensure that these are kept as near stable as possible.
